how does the hlc find out someone is in the hospital so fast?
does a family member call?
does the hospital see the 'no blood' in their records and call?
My dad had surgery last year. The HLC showed up and spent the entire day with us. Jehovah blessed us so. Here's a link to my story.

In this instance my mother seemed quite suprised that he was there. My guess is that one of my mothers congregation buddies took the liberty to make the call.

Well here's an early
for you.
i addressed it to a couple of elders.
one elder i feel i can trust and one elder is in the congregation i used to attend.....*cough* still assigned to....it is just a letter which expresses my concerns and doubts and personal issues with the wts and congregation(s) i did not go it to much detail but it should be enough for them to at least understand my veiw point.
i have asked if they could reply to me...or at least make some kind of comment...even if it to just try and ease my doubts and concerns.
If I were you I'd refuse to see them.

we always get together with our entire family (kids and grandkids) for an all day picnic and fun and then watch the small town parades.
and then this weekend we will be playing "catch-up" with outdoor projects on the house that we couldn't get to because of the rain.
Thanks Luna2 and Serendipity. I was up Thursday night till almost 2pm trying to get them out in the mail on Friday. That is extremely late for me considering Im usually in bed by around 9:30 / 10:00 pm at the latest. Nothing like waiting till the last minute, is what I always say. LOL.

I know that the Exorcist is a pretty silly movie and no one is really scared of it, but it is a classic JW no-no. It is sort of silly how something so ordinary as seeing movies like this makes me feel finally free of all the superstitious crap I suffered from as a dub.
I beg to differ. My wife was totally petrified during this movie. She totally refused to watch it and forced herself to sleep. She has never been a JDub either.

Celebrating my oldest kids birthday! Big, tall cake and lots of good food, a cook out if the weather is nice. Maybe some gardening if there's time.Emma, of the I Love Birthday's Class!!
I too will be celebrating a birthday. My twins will be turning 3 on the 27th. Food, drink, family and fun. Im looking forward to it. At this moment I'm working on their invitations. What do you all think?
